PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving traveling transmission mechanism in a mower.;SOLUTION: This traveling transmission mechanism is provided with a four- wheel drive mechanism transmitting a drive force being outputted from a transmission casing 12 adjacent to an engine 4, which is disposed in the front or the rear part of a traveling machine body 6 having the mower 14 for mowing weeds in its lower part, to rear and front axle cases 26 and 27 so as to drive front/rear wheels 1 and 2. A distal transmission part for transmitting the drive force from the transmission casing 12 in the four-wheel drive mechanism to the axle case 26 being positioned in a long distance therefrom is provided with a first transmission shaft 71 being connected to an input shaft 67 for inputting the driving force in the axle case 26 being connected and formed into a crest shape via a connection part 66 and a second transmission shaft 72 being connected to an output shaft 54 for outputting the drive force to the axle case 26 in the transmission casing 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
