PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip separating mechanism for rolled paper capable of surely peeling the tip of a machine glazed paper regardless of the diameter of the rolled paper.;SOLUTION: A rolled paper holder 2 is fixed to a frame 2, and a dome guide 4 is circumferentially movable on the outside of the paper holder 2 by an actuator 3. A rolled paper guide 8 is moved in interlocking with the opening and closing of the dome guide 4 about a shaft 21 on the rolled paper holder 2, and also movable according to the diameter of the rolled paper 20. A pickup roller 5 rotates the rolled paper 20. A separator 9 is spring-energized onto a shaft 6 movably according to the diameter of the rolled paper 20, and a feed shaft 10 and a driven roller 11 feed the rolled paper 20 having the tip separated forward. A sensor 12 detects the separation of the tip of the rolled paper 20, and a sensor 15 detects the presence or absence of the rolled paper 20 in a tip separating mechanism part 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
