PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage medium with durability and large capacity, which is convenient and easy to use.;SOLUTION: A portable data transfer/storage device transfers data among one or more flash memory modules and an external or a built-in large capacity digital storage device 20. The device has one or more slots 27 to insert the flash memory modules into a casing 10 and a processing circuit 28 to transfer the data among the flash memory modules and the large capacity digital storage device 20 is included in the casing 10.
