PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify bid processing in an auction site, and to prevent doubled successful bids.;SOLUTION: A user accesses an agent control device to conduct an agency procedure for the bid processing for desired articles. The control device retrieves the auction site where the articles are under an auction, and calculates upper limit bidding prices based on information and the like of the respective articles. The control device issues a bidding sub-agent a1 and the like for bearing the bid processing for the respective articles, and determines excecution priorities (priorities 1-4) for the bid processing by the respective sub-agents. The sub-agent a1 of the highest priority conducts the bid processing for the article A1, and the sub-agent a2 and the like conduct the bid processing for the article A2 and the like. When the sub-agent a1 is not able to get a successful bid for the article A1, the sub-agent of the second priority concucts the bid processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
