PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfecting and washing method capable of further simplifying disinfecting and washing of a feed water duct, and disinfecting and washing a medical care object while securing safety of the object even during medical care.;SOLUTION: A disinfecting chemicals supplying device 2 disposed in an upstream part 1d of the feed water duct 1 and a drain changeover mechanism 3 disposed in the downstream part 1g are used. In disinfecting and washing, disinfecting and washing water WWA made by mixing a predetermined ratio of disinfecting chemicals WA from the disinfecting chemicals supplying device 2 into water from a feed water source W is supplied to the water duct 1.
