摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing iron from groundwater, pumped up by a dewater method without feeding chemicals, where the raw water is aerated by a plurality of forced oxidation nozzles to chemically change a ferrous ion to insoluble ferric hydroxide, the ferric hydroxide is removed by filtration, and the resultant cleaned water is discharged.;SOLUTION: After pumping of groundwater from a deep well 1 is started, raw water 2 of groundwater is fed into a number of forced oxidation nozzles 3, arranged in a row, under high pressure so that the raw water is aerated in the nozzles 3. Thereby an iron component comprising a ferrous ion in the raw water 2 is oxidized to be chemically changed to ferric hydroxide, which, together with water, is fed to a filtration tank 4. In the filtration tank 4, forced suction filtration, where the raw water is sucked from below by a pump P1, is carried out to attach ferric hydroxide to a filter medium, thereby removing the ferric hydroxide. In such a way, the raw water 2 is filtered to produce clear water 6. A magnetic valve 7 is closed before the discharge of the clear water 6, and the clear water is fed into a clear water tank (a back wash water tank 8) until the back wash water tank 8 is filled up with the clear water. When the back wash water tank 8 is filled up, the clear water 6 is discharged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
