METHOD OF DETERMINING MAINTAINED CONDITION AND OPERABILITY OF HEAVY BULK LOAD CARRYING CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and precisely measure the weight of a residual bulk load in a carrying container, abnormal contact with structures surrounding the carrying container or the occurrence of competition by measuring a current or electric power in an existing crane hoisting driving motor and giving simple signal processing thereto without specially reforming facilities including a load cell.;SOLUTION: During lowering or hoisting the carrying container with a hoisting driving motor 1 after discharging the bulk load, the current or electric power is measured and predetermined signal processing is given thereto. Then, similar operation is applied for level comparison 12 of the result of difference computation 11 between current and previous processing results with a threshold value. During hoisting or lowering the carrying container loaded with a predetermined amount of bulk load with the hoisting driving motor 1, the current or electric power is measured and predetermined signal processing is given thereto. Then, similar operation is applied after discharging the load for difference computation therebetween and level comparison with a threshold value. The signal processing is smoothing processing 9 or averaging processing. Gradient calculation 14 or variation calculation 16 for the measured current or electric power with the elapse of time is applied for determining abnormality.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
