PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of loss of a signal converting circuit, incorrect cable connection, loss of a battery, etc., which may occur, if the signal converting circuit is put separately, to convert a unipolar synchronous signal obtained from the synchronous signal generating circuit of a protective relay device into a bipolar synchronous signal by passing the unipolar signal, through the signal converting circuit, and to take the converted signal into a relay tester.;SOLUTION: The protective relay device 4 contains the signal converting circuit 6. In the circuit 6, a synchronous signal from the synchronous signal generating circuit 4A is converted into a bipolar signal and a cable is connected from its output terminal to the relay tester 1. Circuit power sources necessary for the converting circuit 6 are obtained from a control power source for the protective relay device, by performing conversion with direct-current-to-direct- current converters PS1, PS2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
