PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a dangerous substance such as the fourth class petroleum is used in many cases as quenching oil for performing a quenching treatment, and therefore, not only the total volume of this dangerous substance must be regulated, but also the safekeeping and the management must completely be performed.;SOLUTION: The heat treatment system is constituted by being provided with a heat treatment apparatus A storing the quenching oil 9 used for the quenching treatment and a heat treatment apparatus B connected with this heat treatment apparatus A through a connecting pipe 8. Then, this system is constituted so to transport the quenching oil 9 between the heat treatment apparatuses A and B through the connecting pipe 8, by providing the quenching oil 9 having a volume less than the total volume which can be stored in the whole quenching vessels 4 and 4' in the heat treatment apparatus A and B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
