PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tatami mat space setting structure for a western room tatami mat capable of surely preventing gaps from being made between tatami mat units by making no slippage between them when the tatami mats are used.;SOLUTION: For the tatami mat space setting structure for the western room tatami mat forming a tatami mat space on a floor by laying a plurality of tatami mat units all over the floor, the tatami mat space 1 is constituted of corner tatami mat units 2 arranged in four corners, room tatami mat units 3 arranged among the corner tatami mat units 2 and a central tatami mat unit 4 surrounded by the corner tatami mat units 2 and room tatami mat units 3, and drawing means 5 for drawing to each other are included so that a form of the tatami mat space 1 can be held in each of the corner tatami mat units 2 and room tatami mat units 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
