PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flame-retardant recycled polyester fiber with reduced environmental loading by using the raw material as a mixture of recovered polyester molded products and flame-retardant polyester and inexpensively provide fiber products by using the flame-retardant recycled polyester fiber.;SOLUTION: Recovered polyester and polyester including phosphorus atom are mixed at a volume ratio of 30/70-70/30 so that the content of phosphorus atom may be 500-50,000 ppm in the mixed polyester and the polymer mixture is characteristically melt-extruded into fiber or melt-extruded into fiber followed by drawing of the extruded and undrawn fiber to obtain the objective flame- retardant recycled polyester fiber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
