TORQUE SHEAR TYPE HIGH TENSION BOLT AND BOLT JOINT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque shear type high tension bolt having a stricture of tightening a nut by rotating a head part of the bolt and capable of introducing tension for the bolt on the bolt head part and reducing a height of a bolt protruding part from a seat face, and to provide a bolt joint method using the bolt.;SOLUTION: This torque shear type high tension bolt having a male screw screw-fitted in a female screw and capable of tightening a tightening tool by engaging it with the head part side is constituted such that a pin tail for controlling torque is formed at a tip of a head part to form a break neck due to a rupture groove between the head part and the pin tail, a washer having a larger diameter than outer peripheral diameter of the head part and square outer periphery is inserted between the seat face of the bolt head part and a steel member to be jointed and is allowed to abut on them, and the washer is engaged with an outer sleeve and is tightened by gripping the pin tail by an inner sleeve of the tightening tool.
