PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bell-and-spigot pipe joint capable of retaining a connecting pipe inserted into a joint body concentrically to the joint with satisfactory seal property.;SOLUTION: This pipe joint having the joint body 10 for inserting the connecting pipe 1 to one end part thereof comprises a packing installation part 14 containing a packing 20 having a cylindrical part 25 and a rip 21 protruded to the bore side to support and seal the pipe, and a cylindrical guide part 12 smaller in diameter than the packing installation part 14 for supporting the circumferential surface of the pipe and regulating the inserting length of the pipe.
