PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a hole around a broken part to allow an easy water stoppage only by use of a throw-away valve and a short-time repair by one worker.;SOLUTION: This water cutting device comprises a nut 10, a first presser ring 11a, a first ring-like packing 12a, an elastic hose 13, a second ring-like packing 12b, a second presser ring 11b, a pressing pipe 15, and a ratchet spanner 17 mounted on a long nut 16, which are linearly arranged, and a screw bar 18 inserted through them, and the long nut 16 is screwed to the screw bar 18 and integrally connected. The ratchet spanner 17 is rotated to move the long nut 16, the second ring-like packing 12b is moved through the pressing pipe 15 and the second presser ring 11b to push and contract the elastic hose 13 interposed between it and the first ring-like packing 12a, and the outer diameter thereof is extended and closely fitted to the inner wall of a feed pipe 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
