USE OF ANTAGONIST OF PROSTAGLANDIN EP-3 RECEPTOR FOR COSMETICS LOWERING, REDUCING OR STOPPING LOSS OF THE HAIR AND THE OTHER BODY HAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation or cosmetics for lowering, reducing or stopping loss of the hair and the other body hair capable of obtaining a rapid efficacy in dosing a low concentration and/or small number of times of application, low in toxicity and excellent in preservability. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition comprises at least an antagonist of prostaglandin EP-3 receptor in a cosmetically acceptable medium. An agonist of 0.001 to 10 mass.%, preferably 0.01 to 5 mass.% is contained in the cosmetic composition. The cosmetic composition may include 0.001 to 10 mass.%, preferably 0.1 to 5 mass.% of the antagonist if prostaglandin EP-3 receptor.
