PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic commerce system which actualizes an opening style of an on-line shop by a means quite different from known on-line shop structuring since a commerce style using the Internet is available and has advantages that conventional electronic commerce do not have when viewed from both an article supply side and a person who wishes to open the on-line shop, specially, an electronic commerce system which makes it easy to open the on-line shop.;SOLUTION: In an electronic mall EC wherein users 4a to 4n are able to freely browse pieces of article information provided by store opening persons 2a to 2n who want to sell articles and select and buy articles according to the browsed article information, it is made possible to buy the articles in the electronic mall EC through the sites of the persons who wish to open on-line shops and the person who wish to open the on-line shops need not have a unique system, required to structure the on-line shops, for the purchase of the articles, stock management, article forwarding, and settlement procedures.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
