PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate labor and time to input an ID each time when a utilization department is registered and pay contents are retrieved and to charge a user for a contents service without evading information transmission and information sharing.;SOLUTION: In the pay contents service providing system, the accounting information for every utilization department is edited from the access log record (access log record DB 14) of a homepage (HP server 1) accessed by the utilization department by using an IP address, a network log-in ID, etc., to generate a charging information DB 15, and the information DB 15 is connected to an accounting system (accounting server 3), thereby charging the user or the utilization department for the service. Thus, it is possible to eliminate the labor and time to input the ID each time when the utilization department is registered and the pay contents are retrieved and also to charge the user for the contents service without evading information transmission and information sharing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
