PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the in-plane variance of the focal distance of condensing hologram elements of a hologram duplicated from a hologram master plate for optical duplication consisting of an array of condensing hologram elements.;SOLUTION: In the hologram master plate for optical duplication consisting of an array of condensing hologram elements, either the smoothness of the surface 19 on the side of a photosensitive material to be duplicated or the flatness of the face 16 of a hologram layer, or the parallelism between the face 16 of the hologram layer and the surface 19 on the photosensitive material side to be duplicated is maintained to be ≤10% of the focal distance of the condensing hologram elements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
