PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fracture detection system for a foundation structure by an AE sound by which the damage state of a foundation damage part is detected, by a method wherein the load of a train being used is used and especially the AE sound of the foundation damage part which cannot be detected visually is induced.;SOLUTION: The load 4 by a railway vehicle 3 is applied, a crack 2A is generated in a pile 2 of a bridge 1, and the AE sound of the crack 2A is detected by AE sound sensor devices 5A to 5D. That is to say, by the four- channel (4-channel) AE sound sensor devices 5A to 5D, the degree of the damage of the crack 2A can be detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
