PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a pipe without digging up the buried pipe.;SOLUTION: A required number of reinforcing plates 12 made of a stainless material having length shorter than the buried pipe 10 and dimensions longer than peripheral length of an inwall surface of the buried pipe 10 are carried in the buried pipe from an inlet port 11, etc., the reinforcing plates 12 are bent cylindrical and pushed on the inwall surface, a reinforcing cylinder 12' is formed by connecting end edges of the reinforcing plates 12 to each other in the pipe axial direction, ring bodies 13 made of an elastic material are arranged on an end part in the pipe axial direction of the reinforcing cylinder 12', and the reinforcing plates 12 are connected in the pipe axial direction at an end part in the ring axial direction by a fixing member 14 made of the stainless material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
