PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular retreat support device requiring no difficult operation even for a beginner, capable of performing parking operation without anxiety and properly assisting parking operation time. SOLUTION: In a parking assisting device 1 for superimposing and displaying a predictive locus 20 of a vehicle on a rear image on a display by taking the image of a vehicle rear part by a camera 17 at parking operation, a first predictive locus 20a according to a steering angle of the vehicle is displayed on the display at parking starting time. The first predictive locus 20a is fixed under a specific condition. The locus is set as a target locus. A second predictive locus 20' changing according to the steering angle at parking operation is displayed on the diaplay, and is guided and indicated so that the second predictive locus 20' is made to coincide with the target locus 20a with the fixed target locus 20a as an operational reference.
