PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the signals of CS broad broadcasting service broadcast in a program-multiplexed operational form capable of being retransmitted through CATV, without requiring new facilities.;SOLUTION: The satellite broadcasting transmission system 1 of a broadcasting program enterprise transmits broadcasting programs, transmitted from a plurality of program suppliers toward a CS satellite 2 by multiplexing the programs upon another together with the service information which is needed for the reception of the programs. At transmitting of the programs, the system 1 transmits one repeater quantity of signals so that the signals may be constituted of two-TS signals in a pseudo-executing way. The CATV system 3 of a cable broadcasting enterprise receives the broadcasting programs transmitted from the satellite broadcasting transmission system 1 of the broadcasting program enterprise via the satellite 2 and transmits the programs to the receiving system 5 of each viewer by using a cable network 4. At transmitting of the programs, the CATV system 3 divides the signals composed of the two-TS signals into single TS signals and retransmits the TS signals, using different channels. The receiving system 5 of each viewer decodes the signals transmitted via the network 4 and reproduces the signals on a television receiver.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
