PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip resistance from increasing as a result of the consolidation of sediment in the bottom portion inside the pile when pressing-in a cylindrical pile.;SOLUTION: This is an inner tank 1 which is arranged inside a steel pipe pile 2, and sediment is housed into the pile 2 from the bottom side of the pile 2 when the pile is pushed into the ground. The inner tank 1 comprises a hollow tank portion 3 with the bottom side opened, and a fixing means 4 for fixing the tank portion 3 to the pile 2 in a freely detachable manner. And in a state where the inner tank 1 is fixed to the inside of the pile 2 by fixing means 4, the pile 2 is pressured. After placing sediment to be placed in the pile 2 into the tank portion 3 of the inner tank 1, the inner tank 1 is pulled up and the sediment in the inner tank 1 is discharged to the outside of the pile 2. In this way, when pressing-in the pile 2, an increase in the tip resistance of the pile 2 due to the consolidation of sediment in the pile 2 can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
