PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallized glass production process which comprises subjecting a stack formed by alternately stacking up a plurality of sheets of glass (substrate material sheets) and a plurality of keep plates (setters), to heat treatment to produce crystallized glass sheets, namely, crystallized substrate material sheets that any sheet- to-sheet variation in warpage is hardly caused in, and also, enables inhibition of any breakage of the keep plates (setters) during the heat treatment.;SOLUTION: This crystallized glass production process comprises one by one alternately stacking up a plurality of sheets of sheetlike glass and a plurality of platelike members (setters), to form a stack in such a way that each of the sheets of sheetlike glass is interposed between two of the setters without allowing it to project from each of the two setters, and subjecting the stack to heat treatment to crystallize the sheetlike glass, wherein the stack is formed so that each of the sheets of the sheetlike glass does not project from any main surface of the corresponding two of the setters and also, the distance between the periphery of each of the setters and the periphery of the corresponding one of the sheets of the sheetlike glass is ≤30 mm throughout the periphery of the sheet of the sheetlike glass.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
