PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater setting film composition which can effect setting of a coating film in a short period of time and causes no problem of usability as the nail beautifier.;SOLUTION: The underwater setting film composition comprises a non-water- soluble film base agent and a solvent which dissolves the non-water-soluble base agent and has compatibility with water and is one or more alkylene glycol based solvents or ketone based solvents to be selected from the compounds of formulae I to III (wherein R1 and R2 are each a 1-18C alkyl group or an acyl group; R3 and R4 are each H or a 1-18C alkyl group; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 1-20; R5 and R6 are each a 1-18C alkyl group; and R7 is an acyl group or a 3-18C alkyl group).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
