PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To three-dimensionally restore and display a fundus shape from fundus images photographed from many directions. SOLUTION: When the lens of an organism eye is modeled into a single lens and the fundus shape is presumed substantially spherical, an image of the spherical surface by the single lens is on a quadratic surface, so that it can be presumed that a camera photographs the quadratic surface from various directions. From the superposition of feature points included commonly in the plurality of fundus images on the quadratic surface, the quadratic surface shape, and the position and attitude of the camera photographing each image are estimated. Parameters of the single lens are computed from the quadratic surface shape, and then the fundus shape can be restored.
