PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for activating cell functions and a method for suppressing cell functions, which enable the effective treatments of various diseases including fatal diseases and further enable the maintenance and promotion of health for disease prevention, aging prevention and the like, and to provide a medicine and equipment used for the methods.;SOLUTION: This method for activating the cell functions comprises restoring and/or establishing micro-tubules 9 in a cell, activating motile protein 10 in the cell, or increasing the release of Ca2+ in the cell, thus enhances the concentration of Ca2+ at a local area in the cell. The method for suppressing the cell functions comprises inhibiting micro-tubules 9 in a cell inhibits motile protein 10 in the cell, or decreases the release of Ca2+ in the cell, thus lowers the concentration of Ca2+ at a local area in the cell.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
