PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making weight reduction target value setting method for setting an ideal weight reduction target value for which health not only at the present point of time but also in future is taken into consideration by considering even a vital age and visceral fats and calculating and setting the weight reduction target value and a weight reduction guiding system and a weight reduction guiding method utilizing the weight reduction target value setting method. SOLUTION: The medical examination and physical strength test of a weight reduction value setting object person are performed and a virtual vital age to the calendar age of the object person is calculated from the result of the medical examination and the physical strength test. The amount of fats stuck to the internal organs near the navel part of the object person is measured and a visceral fat area is calculated from the measured value. An exercise amount and a nutrition intake required for reducing the vital age and the visceral fat area are set and the weight reduction target value is set from the set exercise amount and nutrition intake.
