HOME GATEWAY HAVING ADDED REMOTE SENSING FUNCTION AND REMOTE SENSING AND INFORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home gateway to which a remote sensing function is added and which can also be used as a protection system by conveniently and inexpensively constituting a home network without using any other wiring nor equipment and has such superior interchangeability that can expand its range of use and a remote sensing and informing method.;SOLUTION: The home gate contains an Internet connecting interface which transmits and receives internet services provided from Internet service providers or danger sensing signals and intrinsic identifiers of devices; a storage device which stores the messages corresponding to sensed danger signals, the intrinsic identifiers of devices, and a software program; and a central controller which executes the software program stored in the storage device. The home gateway also contains a transmission-reception interface for home which transmits and receives signals to and from a device constituting the home network by converting signals which are processed through the software program according to a home network signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
