PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory managing method for providing a distributed articles necessary for operation of equipment to a service recipient capable of managing the use situation of the distributed articles delivered to the service recipient and surely managing inventory based on the use of the distributed articles.;SOLUTION: A terminal 12 as an inventory managing device possessed by a service provider 10 includes a storing part 124 for registering information inherent to the distributed article 6 delivered to a contractor 1 as the service recipient, an input part 123 for inputting the use situation of the distributed article 6, and an operation processing part 122 for detecting quantity of distributed articles which the contractor 1 used out of delivered quantity of the distributed articles 6 by acquiring the inherent information and calculating inventory quantity, as its feature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
