PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sewage treatment work rapidly and surely by forcibly removing scum floating on a settling tank in a sewage treatment plant.;SOLUTION: The scum in the settling tank is rapidly and surely sucked by a sludge receiving roller to be removed from sewage in the settling tank regardless of the installation place by extending a wire 11, on which an engaging driver 12 is arranged, between gears 9 arranged in a holding part 5 of a stainless frame body 2 to be engaged and collecting the scum 18 floating on the settling tank 14 toward the direction of the sludge receiving roller 16 arranged one side edge 15' of the settling tank 14 by a scraper 6 made freely rotatable between the gears 9 being hung by the wire 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
