PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating a downlink channel by a base station without the need for transmission of a large number of information items by a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method for estimating a downlink channel between a mobile station and a mobile terminal in a mobile communication system, the base station estimates an uplink channel between the mobile terminal and the base station according to the method, estimates a change in the downlink from a change in the uplink channel, and estimates the downlink channel at a 2nd moment from initial estimation at the 1st moment and estimates a change in the downlink channel between the 1st and 2nd moments.
