PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform settlement in various aspects even if a person does hot have cash and a cash card but has a portable terminal.;SOLUTION: When a salesperson identification information which a salesperson shows and transaction information are read by a sensor, and a certification information reader reads certification information, the portable terminal transmits there pieces of information and purchaser information to a settlement computer. The settlement computer performs certification by the purchaser information and the certification information. When certification is succeeded, settlement is performed and a settlement completion notice is transmitted to the portable terminal and the device of the salesperson.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
