PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel power measuring instrument, with which the power of a channel such as adjacent channel can be exactly found. SOLUTION: The frequency of an adjacent channel signal is reduced by a down converter 12 and in that signal, a signal within a prescribed band with the adjacent channel frequency as a center (adjacent channel signal) is passed through a band pass filter 22. In such a case, characteristics are adverse and in the signals outputted from the down converter 12, signals out of the prescribed band are passed through the band pass filter 22 as well. Then, since an FFT part 32 outputs the signal passed through the band pass filter 22 corresponding to the frequency, a first power measuring part 34 can be used for measuring power just on the basis of the signals within the prescribed band. Thus, power related to the adjacent channel signal can be exactly measured by receiving a measuring signal.
