PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash management system, a center for cash collection and distribution company and a money receiving method, capable of obtaining money receipt data in the center of a cash collection and distribution center only by inputting cash to a money receiving machine provided on the store side in the management of the proceeds of a store and performing the payment processing to a bank on the store side without treating the cash in the money receiving machine on the store side. SOLUTION: The money receiving machine set on the store of a customer performs the identification and counting of cash by a cash processing means when the proceeds of the store are putted in cash, transits data formed of the sum of the cash and the identifier of the store to the center of the cash distribution company through a communication line by a data processing means, and houses the cash in a safe means. The center of the cash distribution company determines a bank account to perform the payment processing from the identifier of the store when the data from the money receiving machine is received by a receiving means, and performs the payment processing of the corresponding sum of money from the cash distribution company to the bank account by a means for performing the payment processing.
