PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method and a fixture for heat treatment served for the heat treatment method, which improves the production yield by avoiding the reaction of the heating specimen with the heat treatment fixture in heat treatments such as firing or annealing, and maintains the specific property of a heat treatment specimen of the lanthan gallate based ceramics.;SOLUTION: This heat treatment is carried out by mounting the body of lanthan gallate based ceramics to be heat-treated on the fixture for heat treatment whose center line average roughness of the surface is not less than 3 μm and not grater than 50 μm, or the surface porosity is not less than 10% and not grater than 70%, or this heat treatment is carried out by providing a ceramic powder whose average particles diameter is not less than 3 μm and not grater than 50 μm between the body to be heat treated and the heat treatment jig.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
