PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate the straight travel rate at intersection by a simple process.;SOLUTION: The straight travel rate at on intersection is calculated by selecting one downstream road L1 of the intersection, selecting one upstream road L3 of the intersection in a straight travel relation with the downstream road L1, specifying two vehicles passing both the downstream road L1 and the upstream road L3 by beacon communicant devices 231 and 233, determining a number of passing vehicles passing within a time between the two vehicles in the upstream road L3, and determining a number of passing vehicles passing within a time between the two vehicle during the same green light in the downstream road L1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
