PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal and system for video telephone/video conference, an answering message transmitting method and a storage medium which does not give an idea that no one answers a video telephone from a caller, does not make the caller feel discomfort under such message as an information of caller busy which the caller can not understand, and allows confirming an access history while telecommunication was performed.;SOLUTION: When the connection of the H.320 protocol is requested from a terminal on the calling side through an ISDN line 120 during communications by H.323 by using a LAN line 130, the control part 111 of a terminal constituting the system for video telephone/video conference performs control for transmitting an answering message based on H.320 stored in a flush memory 112 to the terminal on the calling side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
