METHOD FOR CHANGING CHARACTERISTIC OF UPLINK TBF (TEMPORARY BLOCK FLOW)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the smooth continuity from an old packet exchange connection to a new packet exchange connection. SOLUTION: A mobile station utilizes available response resources to give an instruction to a network in place of indicating the success of reception of a final uplink part of a completion connection only, by giving an acknowledge response to the final message sent by the network. At this time, the network selects whether this instruction is accepted or rejected. When the instruction is accepted, the mobile station need not perform an access request round which is conventionally inevitable and takes time in a random access channel in common among all the mobile stations, and can set a new (i.e., continuous) connection.
