PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input isolating circuit for preventing an inrush current of a DC-DC converter to allow isolating the DC-DC converter in a short time when the DC-DC converter outputs a large current.;SOLUTION: A resistor R7 is provided to a FET Q1 in series. Since the sum of on-resistance of the FET Q1 and the resistor R7 is large even if the on-resistance of the FET Q1 is small, a voltage Vds across the FET Q1 and the resistor R7 is large and the inrush current is rapidly prevented and a short circuit can be rapidly detected. The FET Q1 is rapidly turned off and the DC-DC converter can be isolated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
