PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing education system and method for teaching writing skill to a student by using the objective microscopic analysis centered on a reader of a text. SOLUTION: The technology described in this system and method is for teaching explanatory writing to a student by using a system which provides the objective microscopic analysis centered on a reader of information which is to be transmitted to a virtual reader by a writer. The technology uses the theory of a conversation analysis like a language conversation model. A text is segment-divided into individual separation units of the meaning of a selected theoretical model by using this technology. Academic analysis and understanding are facilitated by assigning types to the individual separation units of the meaning and by linking the individual separation units to a conversation tree under the restriction imposed by the selected theory. The virtual, namely objective, summary centered on the reader of information to be actually transmitted by the text is compared with principal concepts specified by the writer and the result is sent to the writer as feedback.
