PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for integrating manufacturing, recycling and plate making of a roll to be set up for gravure printing.;SOLUTION: Following roll processes are simultaneously introduced into a factory and arranged so that an automatic plate-making is performed; a direct plate type roll process in which a new aluminum roll is manufactured, measured, pre-processed, copper-sulfate plated, and cylinder-polished; a further direct plate type roll process in which plate-making of pictures/patterns for finishing is added; a Ballard plated type roll process in which a new aluminum roll is manufactured, measured, pre-processed, copper-sulfate plated, cylinder- polished, Ballard processed, copper-sulfate Ballard plated, and cylinder-polished; a further roll process in which plate-making of pictures/patterns for finishing is added; a recycling process in which a direct plate type recycling roll is measured, dechromed, plate-removed, nickel-plated as base plating if necessary for an aluminum roll or an iron roll, copper-sulfate plated, and cylinder-polished for finishing; and a further direct plate type roll process in which plate-making of pictures/patterns is added for finishing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
