WORKFLOW SYSTEM, SERVER, UPDATING AUTHORITY TRANSFER METHOD OF ELECTRONIC FILE AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workflow system which enables an updating authority non-owner to quickly and safely regain updating authority without performing troublesome operations when it is necessary for the updating authority to regain the updating authority from an updating authority owner.;SOLUTION: In this workflow system, when an updating authority non-owner is aware of presence of an incomplete electronic file, a regain button 642 (shown in Fig. 6) is depressed on a person-in-charge terminal to regain the updating authority. Then a server 3 refers to the latest processing status (a status table 33 shown in Fig. 4) of the relevant matter and sends the updating authority back to its non-owner if the updating authority can be transferred to the non- owner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
