METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CHANGING PASSENGER TICKET INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience that a user has to go to the ticket window of a station every time when a passenger ticket information is to be changed, reduce attending work at the window thereby, and to enhance convenience for the user.;SOLUTION: An ID number of a passenger ticket whose information is desired to be changed is input to terminal equipment 1, the input ID number is transmitted to host equipment 7 for storing and controlling the information of the respective passenger tickets, the ticket information corresponding to the ID number transmitted from the terminal equipment 1 is retrieved out of the stored ticket information in the host equipment 7, the retrieved ticket information is transmitted to the terminal equipment 1, the ticket information transmitted from the host equipment 7 is displayed in the terminal equipment 1 to change a content of the displayed ticket information, the changed ticket information is transmitted to the host equipment 7, and the content of the retrieved ticket information hereinbefore is updated in the host equipment 7 based on the ticket information transmitted from the terminal equipment 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
