PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sub-contents selection acquisition performance for a viewer by diversifying a link table data and sub-contents acquiring method with which the viewer can acquire the sub-contents with an intuitive operation by adding various sub-contents to video objects that sequentially change in a video program moving picture.;SOLUTION: An index picture being a layer showing the shape of a video object in the video program is reproduced in synchronization with the video program, visual effects are given to the video object according to the shape of the index picture to explicitly show the sub-contents to the viewer, and the resource information of sub-information is acquired from link table data related to one value possessed by the index object to acquire, display and record the sub-contents.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
