PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a substrate for a lithographic printing plate, the substrate for the lithographic printing plate and an original plate for the lithographic printing plate in which there exists no generation of severe contamination with an ink and which can be stably and inexpensively manufactured.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the substrate for the lithographic printing plate comprising a surface-roughening processing in which an aluminum alloy sheet is electrolytically surface-roughened by using AC in an acidic solution and an anodizing treatment process characterized by using an AC wave shape with a time of 1.5-6 msec from 0 to the peak in the electrolitically surface-roughening process is provided. In addition, the substrate for the lithographic printing plate characterized by being manufactured by the method for manufacturing the substrate for the lithographic printing plate is provided. In addition, the original plate for the lithographic printing is characterized by successively forming an undercoat layer with a dry weight of 0.001-1 g/m², a positive type photo-sensitive layer or a negative type photo-sensitive layer with a dry weight of 1-3 g/m² and a mat layer with a dry weight of 0.001-1 g/m² in this order on the surface of the substrate for the lithographic printing plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
