PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid sample injected wholy from a sample container into a mixing part irrespective of sample kinds, and to make even a liquid sample of high viscosity injected wholy into the mixing part in a time as shorter as possible.;SOLUTION: In this sample feeding method in a sample preparation part 30b in a particle size distribution measuring method, the sample container 32 moved to a position facing to the mixing part 33 is stopped in the position, the sample 31 stored in the sample container 32 is fed into the mixing part 33 under the condition therein while inclining the sample container 32, and an opening port 32a of the sample container 32 is constituted to be oscillated reciprocatedly after the sample container 32 is inclined, in a particle size distribution measuring instrument constituted to feed a dispersive medium 37 and the sample 31 stored in the container 32 into the mixing part 33 to prepare the sample 31, and constituted to obtain particle size distribution information of the sample 31 using a prepared measuring liquid 39 prepared hereinfefore.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
