HIGH-SPEED ROTATING BODY, OPTICAL DEFLECTION SYSTEM USING THE HIGH-SPEED ROTATING BODY, AND ITS BALANCE CORRECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-speed rotating body which enables correction of balance, without adding a member for balance correction, prevents becoming unbalanced by temperature rise, etc., after balance adjustment, and enables cost reduction, and to obtain an optical deflecting system, using the high-speed rotating body and its balance correcting method.;SOLUTION: This is about a high-speed rotating body which has traces of cutting 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 for correcting balance at at least two spots in its axial direction. The traces of cutting are cut toward the center of a shaft. The high-speed rotating body has a mirror portion 9. Also, rotor magnets 11 are fixed to form a rotor 12 for a motor. The rotor 12 is contraposed to a stator and is supported in a freely rotatable way. This is also about an optical deflecting system, in which a rotor 12 is integrated with a mirror portion 9, and is rotated/driven by electromagnetic force between the rotor 12 and a stator. Moreover, this deals with a balance, correcting method for high-speed rotating bodies which is performed by causing the high-speed rotating body to have at least two balance correcting spots in the axial direction, and performs cutting toward the center of a shaft at the balance-correcting spots.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
