PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch die in which whether or not the die is an air-blow type can be easily discriminated, a punch press using the die, and a working method using the punch press.;SOLUTION: Whether or not the punch die P is the air-blow die 13 is discriminated by a discriminating means 49 provided on a punch head 45 at an upper end of a punch body 37 mounted on a punch holder 9 of the punch press 1 and fitted to a punch guide in a vertically movable manner. This discriminating means 49 can be provided only on the air-blow die 13, and the discrimination can also be achieved by providing the discriminating means 49 only on a regular die 15 while providing nothing on the air-blow die 13. An insulation part or a recess is provided for the discriminating means 49, and a terminal 55 is provided on a striker 17, and if the terminal 55 is brought into contact with the insulation part 49, or located in the recess, no conduction is made between the punch die P and the striker 17, and thus, whether or not the punch die P is the air-blow die 13 can be electrically discriminated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
