PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for road work capable of towing and moving a working means with the space between the working means and the working surface such as a road surface kept constant, a traction device capable of keeping constant the space between the working means to be towed and the working surface, and a road work method enabling the vehicle for road work to move and do work with the space between the working surface and the working means kept constant.;SOLUTION: In this underground radar vehicle 10, an arm 50 is turned by oil pressure of a hydraulic cylinder 32 to ground a wheel 26 of a frame 16. Even after the grounding state of the wheel 26, the arm 50 is turned by a designated amount so that the frame 16 is pressed downward by a pneumatic spring body 60, whereby the wheel 26 is pressed to the road surface 28. Thus, the wheel 26 can be prevented from being sprung so that the space between the road surface 28 and the frame 16 can be kept constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
